Colorado Down Payment Assistance is available with the Chenoa Fund down payment assistance program. CBC Mortgage Agency offers its down payment assistance to first-time homebuyers and existing homebuyers looking to purchase a primary residence. The down payment assistance is in the form of secondary financing of up to 5% of the home sale price or appraised value, whichever is lower. That amount may be forgivable or repayable and may be applied toward the down payment and closing costs.
This program helps reduce the financial burden of purchasing a home for first-time buyers, allowing them to start building equity and wealth sooner.
